Test Corrections for Topic 2

Topic 2 test corrections will be due by this Friday. Turn them in my THursday if you want to receive credit for this 9 weeks report. THursday is the last day for grades to be turned in for this 9 week grading period. I can't stress how important it is to turn in missing work. If you don't know what you are missing, ask me at the beginning or end of class.

Test corrections and homework 2.2

Don't forget that test corrections are due this week from Topic 1 test. Just assigned homework 2.2 from the digits program. If you are on the CD it is exercises 16, 17, 19, 20 , 22, 24 , 27, and 30 on Homework k proportional relationships section 2.2.

Homework 2.1

Three problems have been posted online due tomorrow september 8th at 8:00. Those of you using your CD, don't forget to save your progress as a document then print it out to turn in. For students saving to a jump drive be sure to include the homework number and class period that you have me.

STUDY FOR TEST OVER TOPIC 1

Test over topic 1 begins tomorrow!! You have a hard copy of the review and you can also get online and work out the problems. The CD is also a possibility. Good luck and I'll see you tomorrow.

Homework 1.5

I've extended your homework problems from 1.5 to be due tomorrow (wednesday) after the opener. We went over some more problems in class today and hopefully it will help smooth out the problems.

10 Problems on the hard copy of homework tonight. Get online and work through the problems if you can. I plan on passing out CD versions and student booklets tomorrow in class.

Wednesday August 17th

We had a great time recording times of our runners, walkers, and bear crawlers outside today. I was impressed with everyone's behavior to and from the bus loop. Keep it up and we will continue to make excursions outdoors more often. Be sure to have your unit rates calculated by tomorrow for each student in the class.

Tuesday August 16th

Homework 1-2 is posted online for you to complete. Everyone received a hard copy in class so there is no excuses if your internet does not work. It's easier and more helpful if you can use the internet resource. Best of luck and I'll see you tomorrow. We might be going outside, oh yeah.

Monday August 15

Make sure you have completed the skills practice worksheet front and back (Ratios and Rates 6-1). EASY GRADE. I have re-posted homework 1-1 online for those of you who would like to retry or got booted off. Thanks and have a great evening.

Monday August 8th

I hope the majority of those who had trouble logging in to success net plus can figure it out.  Remember if you can't get online be sure to ask for a hard copy of the homework so you can complete the assignment.  If your internet crashes or you have issues be sure to have a parent email me or write me a letter for the next day.  Communication is key and part of being responsible for your work.  Thanks guys and I'll see you Tuesday.

Hey class,
Remember to log in to successnetplus.com this weekend and set up your student account.  Change your password and take the Unit A readiness assessment under the "To Do" logo.  Make sure you are using Internet explorer as your web browser or you won't be able to log in.  Email me if you have trouble or we can take it on paper when you return Monday.
Don't forget about school supplies:  half inch 3 ring binder, loose leaf paper, pencils, and one dry erase marker.

First Day

What a great day!  Don't forget to find the actual ages of the celebrity list.  We will use that information Friday to create a scatter plot.  Leave your guesses the same and don't change them after you have discovered the real age.
